I am Forestry Engineer and PhD from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.  My research aims to contribute to the assessment and monitoring of hydromorphological conditions in rivers (i) to test hypotheses related to the synergistic effects of anthropic pressures and natural processes and, (ii) to guide fluvial restoration projects and initiatives together with efficient monitoring tasks. Moreover, the consideration of riparian vegetation into the hydromorphological assessment is one of my main concerns as it actively interacts with hydrologic and sediment components.
