Forestry engineer, currently a PhD student at the National Museum of Natural Sciences - CSIC, Department of Geology. Natural hazards are common in high mountain areas and, nowadays, they occur more frequently due to climate change. Furthermore, there is increasing concern about their gradient. High mountain forests play a crucial role in these areas as they withstand avalanches, rockfalls, floods, and torrents. Simultaneously, they exhibit resilience and adaptability to climate change. In this regard, my research focuses on studying the failure mechanisms of these forests, their resistance to potential impacts, and their adaptation to natural hazards within the context of climate change.
